We help promote agriculture through provision of agriculture advisory services, agriculture inputs, value addition, market linkages and networks. There are two active groups under our support.

Dream Modern Agro Farmers Marketing and Processing Union. The group constitutes 25 members who are involved in apiary (Bee Keeping) and Cuniculture (Rabbit rearing). The group mainly keeps local rabbits for commercial and domestic use. Honey is produced and sold locally to generate income for the group. Part of the income generated is invested and some shared among members to help them meet household needs including paying school fees for their children. Upon the harvest of honey, each member is given half a litre for their home use.

Lugunja Youth Development Group: This group has a total of 19 members who are involved in piggery farming. The group keeps both local and crossbreed pigs. The group mainly produces pigs for commercial purposes.

We empower the youth through training in market relevant skills like tailoring, hair dressing, carpentry, motor mechanics, electronics and catering. Our graduates form groups through which they are provided with startup tools to establish their own enterprises for self reliance

AFEG works with communities to conserve the environment through community sensitization on good environmental conservation and management practices, raising and distribution of seedlings.

We empower communities through establishments of Self Help Groups (SHG) and Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA). Two functional groups have been established in Buswale sub county and are conducting their activities.
